Support CSV import of exported Acetrack data
https://feedback.getacetrack.com/p/support-csv-exportimport added the ability to export Acetrack data in Acetrack and Keto-Mojo formats Now let’s support importing the Acetrack data (allows users to transfer data between accounts as one use case)

If app is backgrounded while in "Analyzing" step, result is not saved
You will see the result in the status bar but it won’t be saved…just completely disappears from the ether

Get device icon in top right's circle border to match acetrack LED
We should match color, intensity, and timing of animations (blinking) if we can between software and hardware This would make it super clear what these LED colors on the hardware mean

Closing the app while connected requires toggling Acetrack on/off
If you close the app while it’s connected to the breathalyzer, when you re-open the app even though your breathalyzer is still on you will have to toggle it on/off to get the app to discover it

Forced to wait full reset duration if you click through the tutorial too quickly
The cooldown timer is sticky if you click through tutorial fast enough - this forces user to wait 5 minutes before taking a measurement even if it's their first time using the device

Display PPMs while sensor is cooling down
The time based cooldown leaves the user feeling…unsure what’s happening or even why the cooldown has to happen If we displayed the sensor’s current PPM to users during the cooldown it would be more clear to them why they should not use the breathalyzer too soon…because there is still gas interacting with the sensor. I originally used the Ketonix before using Acetrack and they’ve got this feature there which I found quite nice. Let’s do the same for Acetrack

Occasionally have to close and re-open app to connect device
Haven’t found the pattern quite yet but this warrants further investigation You’ll try to connect, get a “Bluetooth Connection Failed” message at the bottom of the screen, then have to close and re-open the app to get a successful connection Seems to happen to me more on Android

Support viewing measurements on the web
It would be nice to analyze my data on the web We could probably offer this via the web pretty easily. Maybe consider a PWA as well This would be a bigger lift because of differing bluetooth libraries but it would be so sweet if we supported connecting Acetrack to any device running this webpage/PWA - could then take measurements from your laptop To start, only offering data view (no BLE connection) probably covers the vast majority of the use case

New app doesn’t work at all while offline We should keep local copy of data and support syncing once coming back online. This would also allow users to look at their data even if offline (if they’ve loaded data some time before)

Call to attention when user falls below user defined acetone threshold
In the old app (v1), we allowed the user to define certain thresholds that would change the coloring of the measurements We should support a similar concept to this in the new app I can see a few ways to get there. Any one or combination of the below (or an idea not listed): Changing coloring of the measurements view Changing coloring of the graph view. Can imagine setting thresholds then fading colors in and out according to some gradient. Then as I’m approaching my threshold colors start to fade into that threshold color and continue to change color more intensely as I cross further and further into the threshold. Could also show a dotted line on the graph that indicates where the thresholds are Alert/notify the user after taking a measurement that they are below their configured threshold

Old app (v1) had this functionality (shown below). Keto-Mojo also has this functionality It’s super nice to keep you to a consistent testing schedule

Graph dates overlap at edge of screen while horizontal scrolling
Seems to happen mainly after having scrolled all the way to the beginning of your dataset This can be achieved by just selecting the YEAR date range (if you’ve Acetrack less than a year). Then if you go back to month view and scroll around you’ll see this

App reports that bluetooth is disconnected erroneously if bluetooth toggled while app in background
If bluetooth is toggled off then on while the app is in the background, when you return to the app you’ll get a warning that bluetooth is disabled (even though it’s enabled) This is annoying for me because I use airplane mode every night (which disabled bluetooth on Android) so the next day I always see this popup
